Lent started and it always takes me a few days to get adjusted to the sacrifice mode in order to reflect upon Jesus forty days in the desert.  Preparing to face his crucifixion in order to save us from evil.  It's all around us, now more than ever and I wonder if we will ever have peace again.  

As Christians we need to speak against evil and not be silent as everything seems to attack what's sacred.  It's kind of late as I write this entry and dinner is in the oven, but I'm thankful that we have food after all. 

Walking into the desert of our own limited being, we can encounter the reality of what really matters in life after all.  This is not our home, we want to go to Heaven and the only way to do it is by living like Jesus did.
